Jamil Awaida

GENERAL MANAGER

Jamil has more than 15 years international and commercial construction managerial experience. He has held senior management roles on large scale construction and engineering projects throughout Australia, Africa and Greece, working closely with multi-national joint venture partners, funding agencies and major clients. Jamil has extensive experience in international contracts negotiation, structuring and management by driving corporate strategies to deliver maximum value for clients and stakeholders.

Adrian Sommerville

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Adrian has more than 20 years experience in the resource sector, having been involved in the technical aspects of projects, through to business management, human resources and project management. Adrian has undertaken remote site work as well as residential positions, with particular strengths being in human resources and business development.

Rod Kranz

SENIOR SITE MANAGER

Rod has more than 19 years experience in the areas of mechanical, construction, piping, shutdown, civil and structural engineering. He has held a number of supervisory roles, specialising in manpower management, safety analysis and job scoping. Rod joined Kirfield in 2006 as Construction Manager on-site at BHP Billiton's Ravensthorpe Nickel Project and is currently working as Construction Manager on CSBP's Ammonium Nitrate Expansion Project for Kirfield.

Peter Watson

DIRECTOR

Peter has more than 25 years experience working in the energy and resources sectors, both in Australia and overseas. He has held a number of senior management roles across a variety of disciplines for international engineering construction organisations, and has experience in the development and delivery of large projects.

Peter has been a member of a number of company Board's both in Australia and Africa, where he assisted in guiding the strategic direction of global organisations within their relevant markets. Peter is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, with a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, is a Registered Engineer of Queensland and holds a Diploma in Financial Management.

Stephen Beamond

MANAGER

Stephen has more than 28 years experience in the resources industry throughout Australia, Indonesia and Europe.

He has held a number of senior roles working on alumina, cement, coal, diamonds, gold, iron ore, oil and gas, LNG storage, materials handling, power generation and transmission, and water treatment projects.

Jason Anderson

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jason has more than 19 years experience working in construction and maintenance. He has held a number of management positions throughout his career including Operations Manager, Operations Superintendent and Construction Supervisor.

Prior to joining Kirfield, Jason had worked on a variety of projects including the Comalco Alumina Refinery, the QAL Calciner Project and the Leinster Nickel Project in Kalgoorlie. Jason is a qualified boildermaker and first class welder by trade.
